Frameless Glass Fencing FAQ

Glass fencing isn't necessarily new, but it has not become as prevalent in the United States as it has in other parts of the world. Glass fence was really made mainstream in Australia, and because of this, they have optimized the designs of the hardware used in these installations. For that reason, we use the same hardware and materials, with improved installation techniques continually developed and refined in-house. Having installed these fences for a decade now, we have seen and tackled dozens of issues and subsequently continue to improve our installations using our own custom tools, jigs, materials, and processes.

Frameless glass pool fencing is arguably the safest fence available. Because it is made up of large panes of tempered glass, there are very few gaps in the fence itself to let anything through, and the gaps are far smaller than is required by code.

All gates are self-closing, self-latching, and key lockable, so you don’t have to worry about a gate being left open accidentally.

Very! 1/2” tempered glass is designed to withstand daily life, wildlife (yes, it happens) and weather events, including hail and even hurricanes (yes, that has also happened).

Yes, like everything in this world, glass fences do get dirty. Periodic cleanings are recommended, as with anything. We also have solutions to help prevent the glass from getting dirty, which we can guide you through during the design phase.

That depends. If you opt for one of our protective coatings, you can simply clean the glass with clean water and a microfiber towel, instead of using common ammonia based glass cleaners.

Don’t worry! We want our customers to LOVE their fences. That‘s why we stand behind our fences with a warranty. If anything does happen, just give us a call so we can get it fixed quickly. After all, a safety fence that doesn’t function properly isn’t really a safety fence anymore!
